He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from NED University of Engineering and Technology, an Executive MBA from Global Institute Lahore, and an MS in Electrical Engineering (Power) from Lahore Leads University. He is also a Professional Engineer registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Engineers Pakistan.
Engr. Shahid Haider started his career as an engineer and has worked on a wide range of technical and construction-related projects. His experience includes project planning, construction work, procurement, material management, contract management, inspection, and project execution.
During his career with Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), he served as Deputy Manager / Senior Engineer (Construction), where he was involved in the construction, erection, and energization of new 11kV distribution lines. He later worked as Manager (Project Construction) at GEPCO, where he was involved in projects related to housing colonies, industrial connections, and village electrification.
At FESCO, he worked as Chief Engineer (Development) and was responsible for project planning, scheduling, procurement, finance, and ensuring that projects were completed according to required standards and timelines.
His career also includes more than two years of professional experience with Saudi Electricity Company in Saudi Arabia, where he worked as a Distribution Engineer. He was involved in distribution system planning, maintenance, and preparation of technical standards.
Before joining Monoline Constructions, Engr. Shahid Haider served as Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO). In this position, he was responsible for managing the company’s overall operations, working with senior management, making major business decisions, and planning the company’s short- and long-term direction.
